We currently have a primary program with 14 children. The school is expanding in August to offer Pre-K to 4th grade; and a small program for grades 5th - 8th.
Job description -3 positions available :
Teach English and other subjects required for elementary or middle school level education.
Meet with parents on a regular basis to assess child's educational progress.
Assist in curriculum development with other teachers and administrative staff.
Participate in PTA meetings to plan school activities, etc.
Selection Criteria:
University education in teaching, childhood education, pedagogic or related fields
English speaker (2 native and 1 non-native speaker)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A genuine enjoyment of teaching children
Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) an asset
A healthy dose of flexibility and a sense of adventure
Creativity and enthusiasm
Knowledge of Russian and Tajik an asset but not required
Overseas experience an asset
